ABC chapters across the nation have banned together to provide a powerful voice in Washington, DC. ABC Chapters in California have also joined together to provide a powerful political voice in Sacramento. ABC So-Cal is widely known in the local areas as well, through our public relations and political activity. ABC So-Cal lobbies for sound legislation to increase opportunities for our members in the areas of training, safety, business and labor practices on a local, state and national level. ABC So-Cal also educates our members on the current political front and promotes ever-strengthening grassroots activity of our member by providing tools to educate members and their employees such as sample letters to the editor, sample letters on legislation being introduced, paycheck stuffers for members' employees and "toolbox talks" on why it is good to be a "merit shop" employee.
